Laksmi Camp May 6 - May 27, 2023

Elephant is pleased to present an exhibition of double-sided drawings on paper and canvas by Laksmi Camp. Detailed patterns on both the fronts and backs of surfaces incorporate abstract patterns of dots, lines, and spirals reflecting Camp’s meditative mark-making process. Communicating primarily through her artwork, Camp’s exhibition makes visible her inner world. This is Laksmi Camp’s first solo exhibition.

Laksmi Camp (b. 1970) lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Camp’s work has been exhibited at the DAC Gallery and The Street and The Shop. Since 1993, Laskmi Camp has worked at the ECF Art Centers, a studio space for adult artists with developmental disabilities.
